At A La Carte Fashion, we pride ourselves on creating quality content and teaching students different avenues within the fashion industry. If appropriate (ages 16-24) we can also host a 1hr class to teach students about SEO, (includes a 20 question quiz) implementing products into an ecommerce site and so much more.
Our Designer Bio challenge is a fun, informational writing activity that the students will love.
This resource can be used to teach informational copy writing– taking students through the whole writing process from generating ideas all the way to publishing final drafts.
Their assignment will contain four different parts:
- Choosing a designer of interest.
- Highlight and engage in independent research to find information and sources.
- Construct a profile for each designer.
- The purpose of this exercise is to create buzz around the chosen designer and create a spotlight around their start in the fashion industry, their accomplishments thus far, and what the future may hold for their collections.
